The Gifted Tree welcomes you to learn more about our meaningful tree planting program. As you know, St. Croix Hospice has planted a tree in honor of your loved one. It will grow as part of a St. Croix Hospice grove within a protected Midwestern forest.

The mission of this project is to care for the land while fostering a lasting and valuable contribution to nature and the world around us. Through thoughtful forest management, these lands are preserved for future generations by protecting natural habitats, supporting wildlife and maintaining the long-term health of the forest.

Your tree also plays an important role in caring for the environment. Trees help filter water naturally, reducing pollution and supporting the health of nearby rivers and lakes. In this way, your loved one’s memorial continues to give back by nurturing both the land and the community for years to come.

As the seasons change, your tree will continue to grow and thrive — standing quietly among many others that have been planted in remembrance and recognition. Together, these trees form a living landscape of tribute and reflection, each one contributing to the strength and beauty of the forest. Though unseen, your loved one’s tree is part of something enduring, offering shade, shelter and renewal for the natural world around it.

While your tree is not marked with a plaque, it stands as part of a protected forest, contributing meaningfully to the forest in which it’s planted. Its presence reflects a legacy that lives on — not only in memory, but in the life it helps thrive.

If you have any questions about your tree and its planting site or would like to plant a tree for someone else, please reach out by calling toll-free at 800-984-2101 or emailing us at help@thegiftedtree.com.
